Gazprom's diesel fuel to reach farmers in 10 days, Agriculture Minister promises

The list of farmers to be distributed diesel fuel from those 9,500 tonnes donated by Russian Gazprom will be compiled by local commissions, comprising specialists from the Agriculture Ministry and from territorial statistical subdivisions, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a regulation adopted by the Government, the lists will be sent to the Material Reserves Agency, which will issue distribution tickets. The amount of free aid will be 10 liters per hectare, said Anatolie Gorodenco, the Agriculture Minister. The farmers cultivating areas of 50 ha and more and the Moldsilva Agency will get liquid diesel fuel. The farmers cultivating smaller areas will be offered money to pay the land tax. The ministry commits to make efforts so that the farmers should get the diesel fuel within 10 days. Gazprom announced several months ago it would donate diesel fuel to Moldovan farmers.
