The price of gasoline last week decreased by 0.20 lei/liter, while of diesel fuel by almost 0.40 lei/liter. The National Agency for Energy Regulation said that the probability of a market stabilization trend is taking shape, IPN reports.
"Despite a start of the year marked by a rise in prices of petroleum products, generated largely by the increase in Platts quotations and the depreciation of the Moldovan leu against the US dollar, starting this week fuel prices have declined, increasingly outlining the probability of a trend for market stabilization and return to the previously used indicators," noted the Agency.
Over the next three days, the highest selling prices will be by 0.03 and 0.08 lei per liter lower. During February 1-3, a liter of gasoline COR 95 will cost at most 24.60 lei, and a liter of diesel fuel – 21.31 lei.
