Gas charges will be approved towards weekend

The gas is expected to grow dearer by 17.6%. Most probably, the new gas charges will be approved on Friday, January 21, Info-Prim Neo reports. SA Moldovagaz director Alexandr Gusev said that if the national energy regulator ANRE approves the 17.6% rise in the charge, the new tariffs will be valid for the entire year. The charges may be modified only in extraordinary situations. ANRE director general Victor Parlicov said the gas supplier’s request will be examined in detail. The exchange rate will be taken into account when setting the new gas charges.
