The Ministry of Education suggests creating career guidance and counseling centers at universities to help the future specialists find a job and to promote education for career, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué of the Ministry.

Each institution will determine the center’s structure depending on their own experience of managing the students and organizing internship and career guidance for students, involving specialists in different fields in the activities. Under the Education Code, the career guidance and counseling centers will work based on framework regulations approved by the Ministry of Education.

The Ministry says that in 2014-2015, the universities will identify solutions to set up the mentioned centers and to establish reciprocally advantageous partnerships with the economic sector so as to adjust the professional formation process to the needs of the labor market.

In conditions of university autonomy, the higher education institutions have the right to work out own regulations concerning the creation and functioning of career guidance and counseling centers, which will be approved by their senate.

The center will provide career counseling individually or in group, if necessary, will help find a job according to the partnership agreements, will offer assistance to companies in recruiting university graduates, will monitor the employment of graduates, etc.
