The over 65 delegations that will take part in the Moldova Partnership Platform will arrive at the Palace of the Republic in Chisinau on Tuesday morning, starting at 07:30 a.m. At the beginning of the event, memoranda of understanding and financial packages will be signed with various organizations, IPN reports.

“The Platform is under the patronage of Prime Minister Dorin Recean, who will greet the public and will formulate event opening messages. After that, President Maia Sandu will outline the general objectives, which is the country priorities, in her programmatic speech,” the Government’s spokesman Daniel Vodă said in the program “Parallel 47” on Radio Moldova.

The Moldova Partnership Platform is built with the support of the co-founding partners Romania, Germany and France, whose foreign affairs ministers will come to Chisinau. Moldovan officials, including Minister of Energy Victor Parlicov, Minister of Economy Dumitru Alaiba, Minister of Justice Veronica Mihailov-Moraru, and Secretary General of the Government Artur Mija, will have thematic presentations.

The representatives of more than 65 delegations will speak, in turn, during a limited period of time, about what has been achieved, what is being done and what will be done in support of the Republic of Moldova. On the afternoon of September 17, press statements and other communication opportunities will be provided.

“September 17 will be dedicated to a common message: a European, safe and prosperous Moldova, and Moldova’s friends will contribute to this joint effort within the Partnership Platform,” stated Daniel Vodă.

In connection with the event, the Chisinau City Hall said that during the day the people’s access to particular public places in the city center and to the arteries that connect the city with the Chisinau International Airport will be temporarily limited. In the perimeter of the streets where the official column will move, the holding of mass events and municipal works will be suspended.
