Furnizare Energie SRL, a power distribution company supplying electricity mostly to corporate clients in Chisinau, has notified the National Energy Regulation Agency ANRE that it will be unable to continue supplies beginning with December 4.
The reason put forward is that the Kuchurgan power plant cannot confirm supplies to the company for an indefinite period.
As a result, the ANRE required the utilities Premier Energy and Furnizare Energie Electrică Nord SA to take over and make sure that Furnizare Energie’s clients don’t experience outages. The two companies haven’t yet issued their reactions.
