Funny drawings at Museum of Arts

The National Museum of Arts of Moldova hosts an exhibition of caricatures staged on the occasion of the April Fools’ Day The museum’s director Tudor Zbarnea has told Info-Prim Neo that the exhibit includes about 70 works made by such exceptional artists as Valeriu Curtu, Alexei Grabco, Iurie Rumeantsev, and Glebus Sainciuc. Tudor Zbarnea voiced hope that the drawings will bring joy and smiles to the visitors. Axenia Rusu, who came to see the exhibition, said the displayed works are very expressive and convey positive energy that lifts visitors’ spirits. Visitor Nata Moraru considers the works are special. According to her, such events are relaxing for those who are fond of arts. Another visitor, Gheorghe Caragi said that he likes such a kind of art most of all owing to the irony present in every work. The exhibition “Caricature art with smiles in corners of the mouth” is open until May 8.
