The public association "Altruism" intends to open an emotional support and suicide prevention office. During December, the community is invited to participate in fundraising to support the initiative, IPN reports.
The opening of the office is planned for February.
The initiative responds to the need for suicide prevention and emotional support services for people in crisis. The emotional support office will be a platform for people with suicidal thoughts, in mourning, experiencing loneliness or other emotional challenges, the organizers said.
People in difficulty will be helped to overcome negative emotional states through individual and group sessions, art therapy, crafting, cooking courses and other therapeutic activities.
"Our goal is to create a supportive space where each person feels safe, valued and listened to," said Liuba Ceban, director of the NGO "Altruism".
