The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research announced that the functional version of the Electronic Catalogue of the Education Management Information System (EMIS) was finished. According to secretary of state Natalia Grîu, the version includes multiple integrated services, such as grades, type of lessons, including remote lessons, homework, useful attachments, link to recorded lessons, personalized timetable of lessons, structure of school year and access to online lessons, IPN reports.

Natalia Grîu noted the Electronic Catalogue ensures the protection of the personal data of students, parents and teachers and this is essential. Moreover, the instrument will de-bureaucratize the system, avoiding the doubling of data and their falsification, being directly connected to the EMIS.

“The Electronic Catalogue is free. It is ours, of the education system, and will be a useful instrument, eventually for remote lessons. It was developed with a lot of abnegation by the IT team of the Ministry of Education with zero costs,” Natalia Grîu posted on Facebook.
