Disinfection works will begin in the housing sector of Chisinau municipality this week, the head of the General Public Amenities Division Ion Burdiumov was quoted by IPN as saying in the May 7 meeting of officials of municipal services and divisions.
The tender contest to choose the contractor that will perform the works in 2019 was held in mid-March and the contract with the business entity was signed on April 1. In the course of April, rat extermination works were executed in over 300 apartment buildings in the municipality and these go on. Such works are also performed at the request of dwellers. Fumigation works start this week.
Employees of the Green Areas Association will carry out fumigation works against ticks and insects in the municipal parks and recreational areas.
