Each summer camp has a medical unit, educators and sports trainers as most of the camps have swimming pools. The full-time simmer camps will work between June 5 and August 29.

Another 3,990 children will rest at sports schools in Chisinau municipality. Others will rest at sports bases outside the country. Veterans associations, single mothers and other categories will benefit from the available free tickets at summer camps.

According to the Ministry of Education, 70 full-time summer camps and 69 day summer camps will welcome about 60,000 children this year. The public authorities will distribute gratis 25% of the total number of tickets to orphans, children with disabilities and from socially disfavored families. The summer camps for children and teens will be financed with state budget and local budget funds, with the amounts paid by patents and with resources allocated by trade unions, enterprises and associations.
