On Tuesday, 95 octane gasoline will sell at the pump for a maximum of 25.78 lei (+0.1 leu) and standard diesel for 26.16 lei (+0.2 leu) following the latest price cap update from the national regulatory agency ANRE.

Several days ago, the ANRE said that after two months of global prices going down, the trend is now reversing. As a result, fuel prices in Moldova grew slightly last week, by 0.3% for COR-95 gasoline and 1.1% for standard diesel, after eight consecutive weeks of decline.

Last week’s increase was due to rising Platts quotes on international markets, which is a key component of ANRE’s price cap calculation formula.
