Fuel prices continue to decline. A liter of gasoline COR 95 on Thursday will cost 24.02 lei, down 0.25 lei. Diesel fuel will be sold for at most 24.10 lei/liter, down 0.27 lei. The National Agency for Energy Regulation said that fuel prices declined constantly on international exchanges over the past three weeks, IPN reports.

In the period, the price of gasoline COR 95 decreased by 2.84 lei/liter or 10.6%, while the price of standard diesel fuel – by 3.05 lei/liter or 11.22%. This was partially due to the decline in the global demand for oil, which is influenced by the growing concerns about a global economic recession caused by the constantly high inflation that increasingly affects consumption costs.

In June this year, fuel prices reached a record high of 33/90 lei per iter of gasoline COR 95 and 32.46 lei per liter of standard gasoline.
