The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology informs the users of mobile phone services of Moldova that they could make free calls to Romania on December 1, when the neighboring country celebrates its National Day, IPN reports, quoting a press release.
The Agency said the decision was agreed as a result of discussions held during a working meeting of the Agency’s administration and mobile phone carriers operating in Moldova. All the carriers agreed not to charge the phone calls between the two states on December 1 this year.
The move is stipulated in the Common Declaration of the Governments of Moldova and Romania that was signed in Bucharest on November 22.
