Free Romanian courses for judges

Ten judges will be offered free courses of Romanian with the support of the National Association of European Trainers. The list of beneficiaries was approved on Tuesday by the Superior Council of Magistracy, but remains open for others. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, acting SCM president Nichifor Corochii said the list was based on applications voluntarily submitted by judges. The Law requires judges to speak the official language but does not provide mechanisms for the practical implementation of this provision. The judges who applied for the courses are from the Comrat Court of Appeals, the Taraclia District Court, the Ceadir-Lunga District Court and the Commercial Court.
