The Musical-Dramatic Theater “Bogdan Petriceicu-Hasdeu” of Cahul will travel to the schools in the districts of Leova, Taraclia, Cantemir, Cahul, and Cimislia with the plays “Tandala’s Wadding”, “Soul for a puppet”, and “Latin Quarter”, IPN reports.
On January 30, the theater goes to Leova district, to children in Cazancic (11am) and Sarata Noua (2:30pm). On January 31, the theater will perform in Aluatu (12 noon) and Taraclia (3pm), while on February 1 in Haragas (10am) and Larguta (1:30pm) in Cantemir district. On February 2, performances will be given in Ursoaia (11am) and Pelinei (2pm) in Cahul district, while on February 3 in Hartop (1pm) and Cimislia (5pm).
The plays that will be presented on January 30 – February 3 form part of the project “Caravan of the Romanian language in southern Bessarabia”. They are organized with the support of “Eudoxiu Hurmuzachi” Institute for Romanians Everywhere of Romania. Entrance is free of charge.
In 2016, the troupe of the Music-Dramatic Theater “Bogdan Petriceicu-Hasdeu” of Cahul put on 15 plays for over 4,000 children and teachers within the same project, “Eudoxiu Hurmuzachi” Institute says in a press release.
