The social department of the Comrat mayor’s office decided to provide tickets for free bread to all the inhabitants of the town who turned 80, IPN reports, with reference to the official website of the local administration.
Thus, those born before 1937 can apply for tickets and need to present only a copy of the identity card.
Monthly, the Comrat mayor’s office issues tickets to persons with disabilities, TV-infected people, families with many children and persons involved in home care support services.
Currently, 700 residents of the town benefit from such tickets. These receive ten loaves of bread a month free based on the tickets that are issued during the first ten days of each month.
