Children up to the age of 16 will have free access to the Zoo on June 1. Several groups of children will be organized to visit more than 1,000 animals and birds of more than 138 species, including 10 endangered rare species.
The Chisinau City Hall says in a press release that in recent years the Zoo has undergone constant renovation of both animal enclosures and visitor infrastructure. 10 million lei has been allocated for this year.
On International Children’s Day, several entertainment activities will be organized in the capital. Children will have the opportunity to participate in decorative applications and master classes. A program of pop music, folk and sports dances and exhibitions will be organized.
