The persons possessing a certificate showing that they were administered a COVID-19 vaccine will be allowed to enter Moldova no matter what country they come from, without needing to complete the epidemiological form and the own responsibility statement concerning self-isolation for 14 days. Such a decision was taken by the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission on January 13, IPN reports.
The vaccination against COVID-19 in the EU started at the end of last December. Immunization also takes place in Russia, Israel, the UK.
According to officials of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, the Republic of Moldova is likely to receive the first consignment of COVID-19 vaccines at the end of this month and vaccination could be launched in February.
