More than 500 businesspeople, students, reporters and bloggers will be able to attend the lectures that will be given by well-known business expert Kjell Nordström, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the press service of the Moldova Business People Association (AOAM).
The author of the book Funky Business, which was written in cooperation with Jonas Ridderstrale and ranked 16th among the best business/leadership books of all times, will be paying a visit to Chisinau on November 15-16 and will deliver a series of lectures for about 500 persons,” AOAM director general Andrian Candu announced on November 5. According to him, the Association will offer free access to all those who want to take part on the basis of preliminary registration.
“Kjell Nordström's visit is the next stage of a large-scale project launched by AOAM. A number of meetings with famous business experts will be organized within the project in 2010-2011. The first such meeting was held by former Prime Minister of France Dominique Devillepin,” said Andrian Candu. He stressed that the aim of the project is to import successful practices and solutions that can be used by the Moldovan authorities and business people.
Candu said that on November 15, Kjell Nordström will have a meeting with the most important businessmen of Moldova within the “Pro-Sper” Club organized at Cigars Club of Nobil Luxury Boutique Hotel in Chisinau.
On November 16, Kjell Nordström will give two thematic lectures for businesspeople and politicians and then for students, reporters and bloggers.
Kjell A. Nordström is considered a guru of the new world of business. The 2005 Thinkers 50, the world’s first ranking of management thinkers, ranked Nordström and his partner Jonas Ridderstrale at number 9 in the world and number one in Europe. He is presently Associate Professor at the Institute of International Business (IIB) at the Stockholm School of Economics. His research and consulting focus is on the areas of corporate strategy, multinational corporations and globalization.
