The Ministry of Internal Affairs said the rocket fragments found in Larga on Thursday do not pose any danger. The actions to look for other rocket fragments in the border area were completed, IPN reports.
“The rockets parts were taken to the Larga Border Police Sector and are to be examined. As a result of checks, the specialists reached the conclusion that the rocket fragments do not pose any danger,” it is said in a press release.
The Border Police started a criminal case that will be transmitted to prosecutors together with the collected material.
According to the ministry, the authorities took all the measures to maintain order, stability and public safety. The localities situated nearby are out of danger.
The case in Larga is the fourth case of identification on Moldova’s territory of fragments of rockets used in the war in Ukraine.
