Fourteen more companies to export wine to Russia

Fourteen more Moldovan wine companies, besides the 43, might be allowed to export wine to Russia. They were selected as a result of a visit paid by experts of Russia's food safety body Rospotrebnadzor to Chisinau last week, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of Moldova, the Russian experts inspected a number of wineries, analyzed the wine making and quality control process and chose 14 companies that meet the major requirements. The decision to allow the given companies to export wine to Russia is to be taken by Rospotrebnadzor shortly. The Moldovan wine products could be also exported through the terminal located in Russia's northwest region, not far from Saint Petersbourg.
