Four youngsters injured this Sunday in traffic accident

Four inebriated youngsters from Chisinau ended up in critical state in hospital after their vehicle hit an electric pillar. The inspector of Traffic Safety Service, Administrative Surveillance and PR of Chisinau’s Road Police, Ion Roscovanu, has informed Info-Prim Neo that the accident took place Sunday, at 7:00, on Muncesti highway. The 27 year old driver of the ZAZ-1102 lost control of the vehicle and hit an electric pillar. As result, the driver and two other passengers, aged 23 and 26, suffered severe head traumas, various fractures and contusions, and the fourth passenger, yet unidentified, of approximately 25-26 years ended up in the reanimation section of the Emergency Hospital. A Skoda-Octavia vehicle, driven by an 18 year old teenager, at the crossing of Drumul Viilor and George Meniuc Street hit an Audi A-60. The driver and the passenger from the Audi suffered various injuries. During the last 24 hours, 15 traffic accidents have been recorded, with a total of 8 injured persons. The auto inspectors have ferreted 18 intoxicated drivers.
