Four teams of doctors on ambulances will be on guard at “St. Lazar” Cemetery on Memorial Easter on April 15 and 16, and at the Central Cemetery located on Armeneasca Street – one team. The overcrowding, emotions, as well as the excessive consumption of food and alcoholic drinks are the main reasons which determine people to ask the medical assistance of the ambulance services, says Iurie Bacinshi, the head of Chisinau Health Department.
The cited source told Info-Prim Neo that the experience of the recent years showed that the teams of doctors are necessary on the territory of the cemeteries. Also, the head of the Department says that all the stationary medical institutions are ready to receive persons, being provided with the necessary drugs.
About 45 road inspectors will supervise the territory surrounding the biggest cemetery in Chisinau, “St. Lazar” Cemetery, and three road inspectors will be supervising the Central Cemetery. In order to avoid traffic jams, overcrowding of roadways and parking lots, Chisinau Road Police urges all the drivers who intend to go to “St. Lazarus” Cemetery, to give up this idea and use the public transport. On Sunday and Monday, the number of transport units heading for the “St. Lazarus” Cemetery will be increased, due to the so-called “D” route – 25 buses.
Road Police asks drivers to observe the legal traffic requirements and to display appropriate behaviour and mutual respect.
On the occasion of Memorial Easter, the militaries of the central staff of the Ministry of Defence and General Staff of the National Army decided to transfer their one-day wage for fitting out the graves of the soldiers who died while on service.
According to Colonel Victor Bleah, head of the Personnel Department of General Staff, the sum of about MDL 12 thousand, according to the proposal of the relatives of the dead soldiers, will be used for installing headstones.
The cited source says that the National Army approved a plan, which includes organizing and refitting the monuments and graves of the heroes who died in the Second World War and in the military conflict of 1992.
