Four persons injured on Chisinau roads

Three traffic accidents involving two public transport vehicles and four injured persons occurred on Thursday, 7 February, on Chisinau roads, Info-Prim Neo reports. Ion Roscovan, Road Safety Inspector of the Chisinau Traffic Police, told Info-Prim Neo that the first accident took place in the morning, at about 9AM, on Vasile Alecsandri Street. A Mercedes minibus on route 124 hit a pedestrian aged 38. The man was admitted to the Emergency Hospital with head injury. At about 1PM, a Criuleni-registered Mercedes collided with a trolleybus on route 22 at the intersection of the street Alba Iulia and Liviu Deleanu. The accident resulted in two injured persons. The driver of the Mercedes, aged 28, suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma and a 15-year-old boy travelling on the trolleybus suffered brain concussion. Both persons were hospitalised. In the evening, at about 9PM, a Dacia-Logan car, driven by a 23-year-old, man collided with a Volkswagen Transporter van, driven by a 25-year-old person. The latte suffered arm trauma and was given medical help. The accident took place on Hancesti Street. On Thursday, 7 February, Chisinau traffic agents registered 3 road accidents resulted in 4 injured persons and other 19 accidents in which no one was hurt. 373 fines were applied, 99 for speeding, 57 for dangerous manoeuvres, 12 for drunk driving, 13 for driving unbuckled and 24 for crossing the street in interdicted places.
