Four persons admitted to hospital with frostbite

Four persons were rushed to the Chisinau Emergency Hospital with sole and toe frostbite. The Hospital’s spokesman Petru Cravet has told Info-Prim Neo that the victims include a man from Chisinau and another one from Anenii Noi, a homeless woman and a student. The 41-year-old man from Chisinau suffered serious frostbite after staying in the cold for a long period. The other man aged 31 had to walk about 40 kilometers from his village Bulboaca, Anenii Noi, to Chisinau. The 39-year-old homeless woman was taken from the Central Bus Terminal of Chisinau. A student of the Vocational School No. 9 was diagnosed with first-degree leg frostbite. He said he covered a long distance by foot. He was admitted to the Children’s Hospital “Emilian Cotaga”. The other victims were taken to the National Traumatology and Orthopedics Hospital for recovery.
