Four persons were killed in an accident on the international road Brest-Chisinau-Odessa, near Mihailenii Vechi village of Rascani district, in the morning of January 26. The vehicle in which the four traveled collided laterally with a truck, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, the 64-year-old driver of the VAZ car lost control of the steering wheel. The vehicle turned on its side and was projected into a truck driven by a man aged 61 from Edinet district.
The four persons who died, including the driver of the VAZ car, were employees of the state-run company “Moldova’s Post Office” and were from Rascani district. The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries.
The accident occurred at about 10am. The Rascani Police Inspectorate took legal action.
