Last-year-students, applicants for a Master's Degree and graduates who are looking for a job can take part in a personal development training course within the Next-Step project implemented by AISEC. During six weeks, the young people will receive training to prepare for a career, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a news conference on Thursday, AISEC PR manager Alexandru Cucer said that the deadline for applications is December 19. There will be selected 80 young people. The applicants will be invited for an interview. Knowing English is an obligatory condition. Next-Step coordinator Iulia Gotesan said that most of the young people encounter difficulties in finding employment after completing their studies. “Five years ago, AISEC inquired if the Moldovan students are satisfied with their studies and if their knowledge are appropriate for a job. After carrying out a poll and analyzing the solutions proposed by students, the association launched the project Next-Step,” Iulia Gotesan said. Project agenda manager Marina Pascari said the training course consists of two parts – theory and practice. Each of them lasts for three weeks. Within the first part, the students will have seminars on management, human resource, oratorical art, own brand devising, leadership, etc. Within the second part, the companies will organize workshops where the students will take decisions at group level, put forward ideas, etc. The young people will be trained by managers of national companies as well as trainers from Brasil, China, the UK, and Ukraine. The courses will be given at the Academy of Economic Sciences of Moldova from January 10. At the end of the project, the most active ten participants will have internship at a foreign company or project in one of the 110 countries that are members of AIESEC. As many as 367 students took part in the Next-Step project during four years. Founded in 1948, AIESEC is a global youth organization that develops leadership capabilities through their internal leadership programs and engaging students and graduates in international student exchange and internship programs for profit and non-profit organizations.
