The Moldovan judokas failed to mount the winner’s rostrum at the Grand Prix in Tel Aviv. Victor Sterpu was the only one who scored a victory, IPN reports.

He beat Poland’s Wiktor Mrowczynski, but was then eliminated by the future winner of the 73 kg weight class Vadzim Shoka of Belarus.

Vadim Bunescu, Nicolae Foca (both 66 kg) and Ion Nacu (73 kg) also took part in the competition in Tel Aviv. Bunescu and Nacu were defeated in the first round by the representatives of Israel.
