Four-day old hurt in car accident

A baby aged only four days who was being taken home from the maternity hospital suffered injuries in a road accident, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Chisinau Ambulance Service. The baby was in his parents’ car that crashed with another car near the Chisinau Airport. He suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma, a concussion and facial excoriations and was admitted to the Mother and Child Center. Three persons were injured in a car accident that happened at the entrance to Gratiesti village of Chisinau municipality. A VAZ was hit by a Mercedes truck when the car made a left turn. The driver and two passengers managed to get out of the burning car. A 17-year-old girl, a man aged 21 and one of the drivers were taken to the hospital with concussions and fractures. A 62-year-old pedestrian was struck by a car on Belinski St. The man suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma and fractures of the right shank. A woman aged 56 needed medical care as she fell in a trolleybus when the driver stopped suddenly. She received contusions. Sixteen persons were injured in 15 traffic accidents in Chisinau during the first days of April.
