Four children and educator stung by bees at kindergarten

Four children and an educator of a Chisinau kindergarten were rushed to the hospital after they had been stung by bees. Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Anatol Proca has told Info-Prim Neo that the incident happened during a walk. When seeing the bees approaching, the educator and the children started to drive them away. As a result, the bees stung the woman and four children. The children aged between three and three years and a half were taken to the Municipal Children’s Hospital “V. Ignatenco”, while the educator – to the Emergency Hospital. According to Anatol Proca, the bee stings are dangerous because they can cause an anaphylactic shock. Sometimes, they can be fatal. A month and a half ago, a woman from Cricova died after she was stung by a bee.
