Rock music lovers are invited to a concert of the band “Fotos” from Germany’s Hamburg in the evening of May 24. The event is held under the patronage of the German Ambassador to Moldova Matthias Meyer, IPN reports.
The diplomat told a news conference that the concert is organized as part of the Embassy’s cultural program. Besides the traditional classical music, this year the Embassy decided to bring a different type of music to Chisinau. The band will stage a concert in Chisinau and will then go to Tiraspol on May 25.
Asked about their first impressions of Moldova by the journalists, the German artists said they were surprised to see such a green town as Chisinau and warmer weather than in Hamburg. They added they will stay in Moldova by the end of this week and intend to visit a number of picturesque places.
The concert in Chisinau will take place at the Summer Theater at 6pm. If the weather does not permit, it will be given at the National Philharmonic at 7pm. Entrance is free of charge. Since its foundation in 2005, the band “Fotos” has launched two albums and given concerts in 25 countries. Their songs are exclusively in German.
