The delegation of the Republic of Moldova to the Joint Control Commission (JCC) has a new head. This is former secretary of state of the Ministry of the Interior Sergiu Golovach. He was designated to this post by the Cabinet on Wednesday, IPN reports.
In the same meeting, the Cabinet approved the appointment of Mihail Vodă as a member of the delegation. They both represent the Ministry of the Interior.
Since January up to now, the Republic of Moldova’s delegation to the JCC had been headed by ex-deputy prime minister for reintegration Alexandru Flenchea.
Besides Chisinau’s delegation, the Joint Control Commission also includes representatives of the Russian Federation, Ukraine, the OSCE Mission, and the Transnistrian region.
