Former AEI components to hold new round of negotiations

The representatives of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), the Democratic Party and the LiberalParty will come together for a new round of negotiations to consider solutions to the political crisis on March 18. Liberal MP ValeriuMunteanu has told Info-PrimNeo that the negotiations will follow the usual pattern.

Two rounds of talks have been held until now, both at the Ministry of Agriculture, starting at 15.00. In the first round, the negotiators agreed the agenda of the talks, while in the second they set the homework. After exchanging opinions, the delegates decided to consult the members of their parties.

Every time the negotiators told the press that the discussions were constructive, but didn’t provide details.

The chairman of the PLDM Vlad Filat told a press bearing that the partners from the former ruling alliance reached an agreement of principle not to make mutual accusations during the negotiations and to take steps to create the atmosphere needed to reach a compromise.

The negotiations between the three parties started on March 13, one month after the PLDM withdrew from the alliance constitution agreement. Representatives of the parties said they want to form a new parliamentary majority that will give a vote of confidence to the new Government.
