Formal talks in 5+2 format may take place at end-November

The first round of the official Transnistrian conflict settlement talks in the 5+2 format will most probably be held at the end of November, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Eugen Carpov has told Info-Prim Neo. ”We will know more exactly after this week as all the representatives of this format are expected to visit Chisinau during November 3-5,” said Eugen Carpov. The talks are set to take place in Vilnius, at the suggestion of the Lithuanian chairmanship of the OSCE. The decision to resume the formal talks in the 5+2 format was taken during consultations in Moscow on September 22.
