The medical examination of two children in Andries summer camp in Orhei, whose parents claim they were raped by an older boy, neither proved the accusations, nor dismissed them. The information was revealed by ombudsman Tamara Plamadeala, who visited the camp today to investigate the case, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The conditions are fine here. The children haven’t heard about what happened, they don’t know anything” she stated. The ombudswoman is to meet the children’s parents. The police started an investigation after the parents of 2 boys, aged 7 and 8, claimed their sons had been sexually abused by a 10-year-old boy. The latter was taken home from the camp by his family. The camp administration avoided any contact with the press.
