The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Martin Lidegaard is paying a visit to Moldova on April 7-8, at the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia Gherman. Creek Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos arrives in Chisinau on April 8, IPN has learned from the Foreign Ministry of Moldova.
The program of the visit of the Danish official includes meetings with President Nicolae Timofti, Prime Minister Iurie Leanca, Foreign Minister Natalia Gherman, and Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Eugen Carpov.
On April 8, Martin Lidegaard will take part in the conference “Sustainable Green Development in the Republic of Moldova” that is organized by the Government of Moldova in partnership with UNDP and the Government of Denmark.
The Greek official will also have meetings with the Moldovan leaders in Chisinau. Given that Greece is holding the presidency of the EU Council, Natalia Gherman and Evangelos Venizelos will sign a Moldovan-Greek memorandum of cooperation in European integration.
