Foreign investors urge parties to hasten formation of government coalition

The Foreign Investors Association of Moldova (FIA) calls on the parliamentary parties to hasten the creation of the bodies responsible for governance and for the improvement and administration of the investment and business climate, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a communiqué, the Association says that none of the members of the FIA stopped their investment activity or left Moldova, this being a proof of the safety of Moldova’s future. The Foreign Investors Association reiterates its readiness to assist the Government by sharing its experience with the aim of improving the investment climate, developing the infrastructure and a competition protection framework, etc. The FIA includes the most important foreign investors in Moldova. Currently, it has 18 members whose investments in Moldova total over US$800 million or more than 50% of the foreign direct investment.
