Footballer Igor Tigirlash to play in Ukraine

Moldovan midfielder Igor Tigirlash has signed a contract with the Ukrainian club Metalurh Zaporizhya. On Wednesday, February 24, right on his 26th birthday, the footballer received green light to play for his new club, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the trial games, Tigirlash scored five goals and made an overall good impression. The Moldovan midfielder spent the last three year in Latvia, playing for Ventspils, which he helped earn the Latvian Cup. He also holds ten caps for Moldova. At Metalurh, Tigirlash will play alongside another Moldovan, Vasile Caraus.
