The renovation of the football pitches of seven educational institutions of Chisinau starts early in September. The municipality earmarked 16.4 million lei for these works.
Vasile Efros, unit head at the General Public Amenities Division, has told IPN that there will be rehabilitated the football fields of the theoretical lyceums “Olimp”, “Universul”, “George Meniuc”, “Petru Rareș”, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza”, “Petru Zadnipru” and “Alexandr Pushkin”.
Business entities are invited to submit bids during August 12-22. The company that will offer the lowest price will be the winner.
The renovation works will last for three months and the stadiums are to be made available for use at the beginning of December.
The works are executed under a partnership between the General Public Amenities Division and the Moldovan Football Federation that will place artificial grass on those fields.
Last year, there were rehabilitated the football pitches of another six municipal educational institutions.
