Football fields at seven schools in Chisinau will be rehabilitated by the municipality, with the work expected to be completed by the end of this year.
Rehabilitation is already underway at the lyceums Universul, Alexandru-Ioan Cuza, Olimp and Petru Zadnipru. The lyceums George Meniuc, Dante Alighieri and Aleksandr Pushkin will follow soon.
Meanwhile, more football pitches are being constructed in a number of locations in residential neighborhoods, including at 28 Mircea cel Bătrân Bd., 93 Alba Iulia St., 10 Sarmizegetusa St., and 326 Muncești St.
The contractors have been selected following tender procedures, and the funding is from the municipal budget.
