The flu shots arrived in Moldova and started to be distributed to public health facilities. Vaccination in the municipality of Chisinau begins on December 15.
Director of the Chisinau Public Health Center Luminita Suveica reminded that the persons from risk groups, such as the employees of the health sector, social assistance and emergencies, as well as patients with chronic diseases, will be immunized the first, IPN reports.
The persons who do not form part of the target groups, but want to be vaccinated should go to the family doctor and will be immunized depending on the available flu shots.
No special preparations are needed before flu vaccination. The persons with symptoms of disease cannot be immunized.
