Flood-hit people refuse to leave homes fearing marauders

Many people affected by the flood refuse to leave their homes fearing marauders. A critical situation is registered in the village of Yerzhovo in the Transnistrian area. The villagers insist to stay at home, although they are told of dangers. 11 villages have been flooded in Rabnita district. 55 dwelling blocks have been flooded in the town, as 65 are jeopardized. 27 households were flooded in Camenca district and over 40 run the risk to be affected. The people started to makes bread reserves, Info-Prim Neo's correspondent in the area reports. The Dubasari dam releases 7 times more water than usually. The water level gets close to 27 m., as the critical level is 28 m. All is ready to evacuate people from Grigoriopol district, say local authorities. The broken dam in Nezavertailovka village is being repaired. Tiraspol is not menaced by floods. The water level is 9 m. in Bender, as the critical level is 10 m in this town. According to forecasts, the water will go on gathering till August 1.
