As from October 1, Air Moldova will operate again flights to Moscow after these were suspended in February. According to the operator, the decision comes as a result of multiple requests made by citizens of the Republic of Moldova, who are in the Russian Federation and want to return home, IPN reports.
The decision to resume the flights was also taken following requests by passengers to use the tickets purchased during the pandemic and when the flights were halted.
“These circumstances created difficulties with which hundreds of passengers meet daily: the necessity to purchase again tickets at higher prices; the time lost while travelling by road; inconveniences experienced as a result of stopovers, especially for medical emergencies,” said the airline.
