Flights cancelled because of fog

A number of flights have been cancelled, while the takeoff and landing of others at the Chisinau International Airport delayed owing to the fog, the airport’s PR manager Adriana Doruc has told Info-Prim Neo.
There were cancelled the morning flights Chisinau-Budapest (5.45), Chisinau-Timisoara (7.00), Chisinau-Moscow (7.15) and the afternoon flight Chisinau-Verona (16.05). The flights from Bucharest (9.20), Moscow (11.00) and Verona (11.00) were also cancelled.
The planes to Frankfurt (5.05), Saint Petersburg (6.20), Bucharest (6.35), and Moscow (9.40) took off with delay. Delays were also announced for the flights to Milan (12.45), Istanbul (12.40), and Moscow (16.00).
The flights Moscow-Chisinau (8.50) and Saint Petersburg-Chisinau (11.40) landed with delay. The planes from Istanbul (16.00), Milan (17.45), Frankfurt (18.20), and Moscow (23.30) are also expected to land later than scheduled.
