Five persons injured in car accidents

Five persons sustained injuries in road accidents in the municipality of Chisinau on December 1, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Emergency Service, a 33-year-old woman was struck by a car at the intersection of Mihail Kogalniceanu and Mateevici streets. The car left the place of the accident, while the woman was taken to the hospital with contusion of the internal organs. A man aged 69 was hit by a Nissan at the junction of Mircea cel Batran Blvd. and Petru Zadnipru St. The victim sustained a fracture of the bones of the left shank. An eight-year-old minor from Corjova village of Criuleni district suffered contusion of the soft tissues after he was struck by a Lada-1113 in Vadul lui Voda town. Two Daewoo-Nexia cars collided at the intersection of Vadul lui Voda and Chisinaului streets. The 42-year-old driver of a car sustained a fracture of the leg. A 63-year-old woman called the ambulance after she was struck by a car. The driver took the woman home, but in an hour she needed medical assistance as she had the shank bones fractured.
