Five persons received different injuries in road accidents in Moldova last night.
Tudor Capatana, of the Traffic Police Department's press office, told Info-Prim Neo that immediately after midnight, an Opel-Vectra driven by a 28-year-old man under the influence of alcohol ran into the curb and then overturned. A young woman traveling in the car suffered facial injuries.
Soon afterward, a VAZ-2105 crashed into a tree near Sangerei town. The 25-year-old driver and two passengers were rushed to the hospital in Balti.
A man aged 18 was injured in a similar accident on the Briceni-Chisinau-Odessa route. He was traveling in a car driven by a 23-year-old man, who received minor injuries.
