Five persons, three of whom minors, were arrested in the act of robbing a house in central Chisinau in the evening of October 21. According to the police, the group was directed by a prisoner, IPN reports.
The young men forced the door of the house and entered. They were immediately caught by the police, which followed them for several days. There was the owner together with her daughter in the house. The culprits had knives, a pistol and surgical gloves on them.
At the prosecutors’ request, two of the culprits were put under arrest, while the minors will be supervised by relatives.
If they are found guilty, they will serve 10 to 12 years in jail.
