Five persons perished in a fire that happened in a house in Ciocalteni village of Orhei district, IPN reports.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the firefighters were called at 1:30pm. When the firefighting vehicle arrived, the bodies of three persons were taken out of the house by neighbors. The fire was put out in over two hours. The bodies of two more persons were found in the house.
According to the latest reports, the victims include three men and two women. Four of them died from carbon monoxide poisoning, while the fifth was found carbonized. Of the five victims, one is the owner of the house aged 43, while another one is his son aged 24. The age of the others is not known. One of the women hasn’t been yet identified.
