President Maia Sandu received credentials from five new ambassadors to Moldova.
The following diplomats were accredited:
Paul John Lehmann, Ambassador of the Union of Australia;
Ulvi Vagif oglu Bakhshaliyev, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
Søren Jensen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark;
Meidyatama Suryodiningrat, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia; and
Brendan Ward, Ambassador of Ireland.
During the official ceremony, President Sandu wished the diplomats good luck in executing their mandates and emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations with each of the countries, according to a press release issued by the President’s Office.
